Greendale Wombat Landcare

Greendale Wombat Landcare

Formed in 2013, our aim is to protect our farm environment from weed invasion, and to enhance the soils for sustainable land-use.

We need to hear from landowners and residents in our area, which extends from the Wombat State Forest (north), the Ballan ā€“ Daylesford Road (west), Western Highway (south), and the Greendale-Blackwood Road (east).

We meet each month on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm at the Greendale CFA shed. Come along and join us.

Work with us to address some of our key local problems -

  1. a community approach to blackberry control in the Blakeville - Colbrook area,
  2. a regeneration project around Greendale to replace trees that are dying.
